When you pay
Request to Book: nothing is charged until the owner accepts. Instant Book: charged when the host confirms. The itemised quote shows accommodation, cleaning, service fee, taxes and any pet fee before you commit.
Security deposits and holds
Depending on the home and the length of stay, Rove places a refundable card hold, a damage waiver or, for stays of 180 nights or more, a one-month cash deposit. Holds show as a pending charge and take 3 to 5 business days to clear once released; cash deposits are returned within 10 days of departure after inspection.
Receipts
Receipts are emailed at booking and at each payment. The reservations team at reservations@rovetravel.com can resend any receipt.
