We enjoyed our 6 week stay. Views are incredible. We were comfortable and plenty of room to spread out. Comfortably accommodated our guests. Great pool and patio area with grill bar area with seating around the fire pit. Location was perfect for all the things we wanted to do- dining, shopping, biking, walking and close to local activities like the zoo and hiking trails. The only reason for giving this rental 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the noise from the adjacent properties that were doing major renovations including the sound of jack hammers. Appreciate that the host has no control over that, and assuming the construction will be complete at some point. And unfortunately the last week of our stay the internet was not working so TV’s didn’t work consistently and using our devices was slow and difficult. The host ordered a new modem which didn’t arrive in time to correct the situation. But this should be corrected for future guests. Overall this was a wonderful vacation!

Our multigenerational family had a very enjoyable stay at Jena’s place during the holidays. Excellent location just up the hill from the many shops and restaurants of El Paseo but in a decidedly residential, peaceful neighborhood. Jena was very friendly and responsive and accommodated us with short notice after another accommodation fell through. The home is well laid out and is a great backdrop to a casual, cozy family vacation. We felt right at home and appreciated the well-stocked kitchen (and second refrigerator off the garage!), the game room, and the sunken living room with fireplace (great spot for the readers in the family). The home is not brand new, but thoughtfully updated where it counts (bathrooms), and we felt it was a great value. You can tell that Jena knows what she’s doing, and we’d love to come back!

How complete was this beautiful Rental for us! It was much more than I anticipated in every way. From ease of a location to the functioning and activities provided. It was the very best way for my family to be here for a very special visit and I think Jena and her crew for making it possible.

Had a fabulous month! Felt like home, comfortable, lots of room for guests and entertaining. Jena was very responsive and accommodating. Playoff hockey was important to have on TV for these canucks, and Jena delivered!
