West Village Loft #2F | West Village | Modern Loft

I stayed at Gary’s loft for a month in the fall and can’t say enough good things about the experience. It’s located in an exceptionally charming neighborhood in the West Village and close to anything a guest in the area would need. It’s adjacent to a busy street, so like some of the other reviews mentioned it can get a little noisy on the weekends, but if you know to expect it it’s completely manageable (it’s also just New York City!) The unit was clean, spacious and had all of the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Was pleasantly surprised by an air fryer! Gary was a responsive, friendly, and proactive host, anything I might have found confusing was usually anticipated in the detailed home manual he sent in advance

It was wonderful staying for a month in the heart of the West Village. The apartment is light filled, and gets the morning sun. There were three subway stops nearby which made getting around so easy, and five terrific food markets, as well as all the cafes, bars, jazz and blues clubs, restaurants and shopping in the area. There is also a charming bookshop, an art house cinema and several small parks within minutes. Seventh Ave is always busy, but 'swimmers' ear plugs solved that. I had a wonderful stay and felt quite at home. The apartment is on the second floor, so there weren't too many stairs to climb at the end of the day. Gary was a wonderful host. He gave clear arrival information, lots of local tips and was available if needed. I would love to have stayed longer .

Great place, great location right in the center of West Village. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants, even a gym within 1 blocks walk. Parking on the street wasn't too hard to find. A bit noisy on some nights from the Irish Pub across the street, but more so on weekends. Would definitely stay again. Many thanks.

Great location with lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Close to subway to get up and downtown. Great amenities and well equipped with everything you need. Comfy bed too. The stairs up to the loft are a killer with a suitcase and when you've had a few.

loved our stay at this Airbnb! Gary is great, the apt is eclectic and decorated very cool for a NY stay, in a beautiful neighborhood in a perfect location!
