Cheery Harlem | Harlem | Designer Townhouse with Private Backyard

After some hotel stays in NYC, this was by far our most beautiful stay in terms of the space and the most beautiful city Airbnb we've ever rented. You just have to get involved in the surroundings ( Harlem has a lot of cultural things to offer and has developed strongly in recent years). There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. Manhattan is easily accessible. We had a rental car and were mostly able to park after a short search. The house is incredibly tastefully furnished and also technically lacks nothing. It is very well equipped. The beds are super comfortable and also the kitchen has everything you need. We will be happy to come back!

Our stay was fantastic. Traveling with multiple kids is always stressful and Catherine was super helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. The house is beautiful with fantastic art and furniture throughout and more space than we expected! We’d love to stay here again next trip!

Perfect! Super spacious for NY. Had plenty of room for a group of 8. Beautiful house. Well designed with beautiful artwork. Stocked with everything one could need. Near shops and restaurants and train lines. Just beware that an app is needed to control the temperature of the house and it’s not the one mentioned in the instructions. Wow! I can't rave enough about this FABULOUS house! This is a 5-star property: Catherine has curated 4 floors with exquisite luxury contemporary furniture, lighting, area rugs, bedding, housewares, and original art & generously shared intel on the artisans who made many of the things I loved. The HUGE tree in the backyard visible from floor-to-ceiling windows on every level was stunning. We loved the house so much we spent WAY more time just hanging out than planned. Just being in the house felt like a vacation. I loved the immediate neighborhood - especially the outstanding restaurants. There is a high-end grocery store a few short blocks away & the 125th subway has express trains that skip stops to take you quickly where you want to go. Much less attractive townhouses in the neighborhood are selling for over $4 million. We are already planning to return at Christmas time. I LOVED THIS HOUSE (I would buy it if I could :-) and Catherine was always quick to respond. LOVE LOVE LOVE this!

wonderful host! exceptional communicator! gave us lots of tips for the area and was a super lovely host. her brownstone was amazing and had a beautifully laid out design. her eye for detail is flawless ! would highly recommend. :0)

Catherine’s home is lovely and beautifully designed and decorated. It was a magical environment for our family to gather together. Donna was wonderful and everyone was helpful and responsive if any questions arose. Thanks for sharing your home!
